Remembering Nintendo Power Magazine
A lot of Nintendo fans already know but for those of you who don’t, the game industry is losing an iconic publication after 24 years in circulation. Nintendo Power Magazine’s last issue will be the December 2012 issue. Pure Nintendo Magazine would like to know your most fond memories of Nintendo Power Magazine. We will feature some of these memories in the December Issue of the magazine! You can either post them in the comments sections below, e-mail me at jhinton@purenintendo.com, post it on our Pure Nintendo Facebook page, or Tweet it on Twitter using hashtag #PNMag. Please make sure you include your First Name and Last Initial so that we know who you are!

Thinking back.. One of my favorite memories of Nintendo Power was the Wind Waker distance competition. I tried quite a few times, and discovered that if you used the Tingle magic boost right as your magic drained from crossing the finish line… you could keep going! I was so sure that I’d won that contest, I eagerly awaited my next volume.. alas.. I had not even come close to winning that competetion.. lol Dad gum if it wasn’t fun though!
Another great, but small memory.. was the constant insinuating that Alan, was actually a slime. lol I loved the sarcasm and jokes the mag brought. The sarcasm and humor in the responses to letters was always classy.
I have some high expectations of you PNMag! :) I look forward to not being in a future without dedicated printed media. Thank you for attempting/succeeding at this! I will be a supporter for a long time, and look forward to the great memories based on this media as well! :)

@Hitokiri_Ace We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for Pure Nintendo Magazine. Everyone here at Pure Nintendo is also very excited to be bringing the magazine to many Nintendo fans across the globe. I do have one question for you my friend. Could we get your First Name & Last Initial so that we know who to credit this memory to in the magazine? Again thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing more from you soon.
