There are a few things that come together to make this rumor plausible. First, Nintendo dropped the price on the DSi, DSiXL recently. Now Amazon Japan and America have stopped selling new 3DS units. They both say they are having stocking issues and new stock should be in June 4th. Put the two things together and what do you get? That is right, a rumor that a new 3DS redesign is coming very soon. Could Nintendo be showing off the Wii U and a new 3DS at the same time? Only a few short days and we shall know.
