UPDATE: Secret ‘Warp Zone’
Nintendo has added a little Easter Egg to the Wii’s Virtual Console. It is going to house various history and trivia about Nintendo games, characters, etc. Here’s the skinny:
To access the Warp Zone, players must click on a small smiling face on the Virtual Console menu that’ll open access to the Warp Zone for all your retro knowledge needs. “This is your secret doorway into another dimension; a portal into the past, if you will.”
I’ll have to check this out later. I haven’t seen a smiley anywhere yet. Let me know if any of you guys come across it.
UPDATE: This Easter Egg is only available no European systems at this point.

(and i hear it’s not on a virtual console menu page, but on the main wii shop page that has the 5 or so screen shots.)
