Indie developer Fishing Cactus has announced that it’s bringing brain-bending puzzler, Shift Quantum, to the Nintendo Switch next month. The game will hit the Switch eShop on May 29 in the US and Canada, and May 30 everywhere else.
Shift Quantum is a cyber-noir action-puzzle platformer, completely immersed in a black and white world. The gameplay involves use of a unique mechanic known as SHIFTING. You’ll be able to use this power to create negative space, inverting the world to solve puzzles and transform barriers into escape routes.
Last January, the game was chosen as a recipient for an Unreal Dev Grant, providing financial support for teams and individuals doing impressive work in and around Unreal Engine 4.
