Fans still waiting for the release of Shovel Knight in PAL regions will be pleased to hear that the game has finally been given a release window of November 2014, with an exact date to be announced shortly.

The game was released in the US last June, and developers Yacht Club Games have been very proactive in communicating release progress to PAL fans since then. Here’s their latest post:

Hey Shovelonians! Believe it or not, we can finally confirm that Shovel Knight will be releasing in Europe and Australia in November for the Wii U and 3DS!! We are working on pinning down the exact day still, but the wait is almost over.

Yacht Club Games have another surprise in store for our European and Australian friends. To compensate for the long wait, Yacht Club Games are releasing an exclusive 3DS theme for both regions. The theme, which you can preview below, will not be coming to the US, although other themes based on Shovel Knight may make their way there in the future.
