Ubisoft has released yet another Splinter Cell: Blacklist trailer.  This one is labeled “Threat” and it focuses almost exclusively on the story of The Engineers and Sam Fischer’s quests to stop or, most likely, kill every one of their leaders.  With scenes almost straight out of Tom Clancy novels, it looks like Splinter Cell: Blacklist is going to be another modern, intrigue-filled, oh-my-gosh-terrorists-are-attacking-the-United-States adventure.

I have been excited for this game ever since they announced the return of the Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode, but I have been having a difficult time remaining excited with SO MANY trailers being released.  It seems counter-intuitive that more trailers would lower my excitement for a game, but I am getting pretty sick of hearing about a new Splinter Cell trailer every week.  I am still excited for the game’s release later this month, but I’m too worn out to be excited about it until I get a review copy in the hands.  Then I’ll probably freak out.
