Strikers Charged Online Mode Hands-on, Petey Pirahna Confirmed as playable!!
IGN has a new hands-on with Super Mario Strikers Charged Football’s online component. They detail all of the modes available and have really good things to say about them. They also mention something very interesting in their article concerning captains in Strikers Charged:
Captains cover all the usual Mario suspects including Peach, Daisy, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Wario, Waluigi, Bowser Jr, and Petey Pirahna, each sporting their own selection of unique special moves.
So now that Petey Pirahna is confirmed as a playable character, we now have the following list of captains:
- Mario
- Luigi
- Peach
- Daisy
- Yoshi
- Waluigi
- Wario
- Donkey Kong
- Bowser
- Bowser Jr.
- Petey Pirahna
- ????????
We know that Strikers will have 12 captains, so that only leaves one more secret captain we still don’t know about. The last captain could be another robot team, but we’ll have to wait and see. Stay tuned.
