If you’re that type of gamer who generally likes to “participate” from a distance, Rebellion’s announcement yesterday should be of interest. The independent developer and publisher unveiled multiple Sniper Elite projects, two of which are heading to Nintendo Switch.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered is an updated version of the third-person, tactical shooter, stealth video game originally released in 2012. The game was released for Wii U, amongst other systems, and will now hit Nintendo Switch in 2019, allowing fans to return to Berlin for an epic campaign set in the final moments of World War II.

This definitive version will introduce new playable characters, a brand new photo mode, and expanded online multiplayer for up to 16 combatants (on supported platforms), as well as all the content ever released for the game.

If you’re looking for something new to Nintendo devices, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is also coming to the Switch in 2019. This edition of the original 2014 release—set in the North African conflict during World War II—includes all the additional content ever released for the game as well as Switch-exclusive local wireless multiplayer and motion controls.
