Treasure Stack drops on Nintendo Switch March 1st
Okay, so the trailer above may not tell you much about what Treasure Stack is, and it may lead you to believe the game is coming to Xbox One only, but you can’t say that wasn’t entertaining.
We’ll help to clarify things. Treasure Stack is a puzzle-platforming party game from developer PIXELAKES that “…fuses the pulse-pounding pressure of a falling block puzzle game with grapple-powered platforming…” and it’s coming to Nintendo Switch on March 1st.
The Switch version won’t feature the 4K graphics of the Xbox One X, of course, but will support cross-platform multiplayer against your Xbox- and PC-gaming friends.
Offering up a variety of solo and multiplayer modes, ranging from the skill-testing Challenge Mode, to party-centric 4-Player Local Versus and competitive Online Versus, there’s no shortage of ways to stack. Treasure Stack fuses the pulse-pounding pressure of a falling block puzzle game with grapple-powered platforming, making it a fast-paced party game experience like no other, embracing approachable and simple-to-grasp mechanics that hide a deceptively high skill ceiling.
The age-old “easy to learn, difficult to master” formula is complemented by 4-player multiplayer gameplay, ranked multiplayer matchmaking with exclusive seasonal rewards, and over 100 hero and grapple customization items to unlock and equip (and you may recognize some of the characters).
Treasure Stack is available for preorder at the discounted price of $17.99 through launch on March 1st. For more information, visit pixelakes.com.
