Ubisoft CEO wants Rayman Legends to be one of their best
“The Wii U the team is working hard on the Wii U [version] to make sure it continues to improve, so it can become one of the best Wii U games. We hope it can be one of the top games Ubisoft creates. What’s very important to consider is that when a team has more time, they are able to continue to improve the quality of the game. When we saw we had more time, we saw all of the possibilities. Some of the possibilities are the social features that we are seeing today, but also new bosses, new possibilities that will take the game to a level that people will love.” – Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot
I know it is my job to try to stay neutral on matters but this really doesn’t help this whole situation. This is just a CEO of a company trying to save face with the whole situation. Even though what he is saying does have some truth to it.

The fact that Ubisoft hasn’t even apologized for the delay, and continues to ignore the games fans on Facebook makes me think they are hoping this whole fiasco will just blow over and that people will forget over time. Recent announcements like this one, sales, upcoming games, etc … are nice, but no substitute for a candid admission that they made a mistake delaying a finished game for so many months. They risk losing not only the support of fans, but the talented team who built the game.
