Nintendo has released a new trailer for upcoming 3DS game, Hey! Pikmin. The latest entry in the series sees a departure from the usual genre, focusing instead on more of a side-scrolling action style.
The latest trailer gives some good insight into how this works, with different-colored Pikmin serving quite different purposes. For example, red Pikmin absorb fire, blue are adept swimmers, and yellow are lightweight and voltage resistant. It looks like a good balance of platforming skills and puzzle mechanics will be on offer as you and the Pikmin aid Captain Olimar on his quest to return home.
