Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, due to hit the Nintendo 3DS next year in the West, will feature the Link outfit and gear from The Legend of Zelda.

Capcom debuted the Link trailer, which you can view above, at San Diego Comic-Con last weekend, which showcases Link’s weapon and armor set.

The two companies announced a collaboration last September that would bring Mario and Luigi and The Legend of Zelda to Monster Hunter, but it wasn’t clear whether that included territories outside of Japan.

The Super Mario Bros.-inspired costume items haven’t been confirmed for the West at this stage, however Capcom’s Yuri Araujo said that they “have more special equipment like this planned for the title. Don’t ask me what they are, because I can’t say, but expect more news soon!”

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will be released in Japan this October, followed by North America and Europe early next year. In the meantime, let us know your reaction to the latest trailer featuring Link’s costume.
