Bayonetta 2 is heading exclusively to the Wii U on October 2 in the US and Europe (September 20 in Japan), and in the lead-up to the release has come several new gameplay videos, showing off footage from the game, including the opening prologue cut-scene.

The three videos provide a short glimpse into the gameplay and visuals, plus the soundtrack of course. Fans of the original Bayonetta will be pleased to see that the gameplay looks to be just as fast-paced and intense as the original game.

Bayonetta 2 will come with the original game bundled for free – that’s for both retail and download versions. The game will get a massive 5-disc soundtrack too, plus there’s anime on the way, so a lot of Bayonetta action for series fans on the way.

Check out the videos below and let us know your comments – will you be purchasing this game in October?
