The latest trailer for upcoming Wii U game Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE showcases some of the story elements of this cross-over RPG title.

The video, which you can check out above, presents some great footage of monsters and magic, along with some gameplay that highlights the battles that will take place. The trailer – and game – presents original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles, to ensure an authentic Japanese feel to the game.

At the start of the trailer, we see a young girl survive a mass disappearance of 1000 people at an opera house five years ago. Now, the “Mirage attacks” continue during a singing competition, when a portal is revealed to bridge two worlds. Heroes emerge, in the form of Chrom and Caeda from the Fire Emblem series, and along with some of the idol contestants, fight to save the world from Mirages.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will be released in the US and Europe in just a few short weeks on June 24, with Australia following suit a day later on June 25.
