This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma, Kirk, and Trev discuss the latest entry in the Mario Party series.

Last week, we recapped on the annual PAX Aus event, discussing the terrific indies we met over the weekend. This week, we have another full show, from an Alarmo update and Switch 2 code names, to a few spooky games and Super Mario Party Jamboree.

When it comes to Alarmo, Australians had to pre-register for a lottery in order to purchase. Jemma relays her experience – did she manage to snag one?

Meanwhile, news leaked last week about the code name for the Switch successor – Ounce. Is it true? What do we think about the name and what it could mean?

We also delve into some Tron news as well as discussing Banjo Tooie coming to Switch Online before delving into our ongoing discussion on spooky games to celebrate Halloween. This week, Trev, Jemma, and Kirk each have a game to share to get you in the mood for the season.

We’re also playing a lot of games this week, including the brilliant new Super Mario Party Jamboree. Jemma regales us with her time with the game so far. Trev, on the other hand is playing the new Atooi game, Hatch Tails, which comes with a bit of histry. And Kirk is playing a neat action RPG called Drova.

There’s a lot to unpack, and we hope you enjoy this week’s show. Let us know your thoughts on any of the topics discussed today!
