The official line is that we’re awaiting an announcement from Nintendo on new hardware. As of now pCARS is simply too much for the Wii U.
While this news is disappointing, it’s likely not a surprise. Suspicions were raised even long before the Wii U version was first announced as being delayed over a year ago.
Hopefully Slightly Mad Studios can be a little more forthright concerning any future projects on Nintendo hardware.
