Wii U Virtual Console Will Launch After ‘Spring System Update’
The Wii U Virtual Console will officially launch after the Spring system update. The platform is different than the Wii’s Virtual Console so not every game from the Wii’s VC will be available at the launch of the Wii U VC. Iwata said a small selection of NES and SNES games will be available at launch. No mention of Gamecube games, but Gameboy Advance games were mentioned.

Honestly I am looking forward to downloading all of these classic games that Nintendo is releasing during the 30th Anniversary Family Computer Wii U Virtual Console Trial Campaign! You can’t beat 30 cents for a game! Well unless the game is free but that is besides the point! I just downloaded Balloon Fight!
