YouTube Launches TV Channel for Wii and PS3
Google is in the process of making a Youtube channel for the TV (in the beta stage), and is planning on releasing it on the Wii and PS3. It seems like the channel will dimishes those nasty stretch marks when watching a video on a giant screen.
“…dynamic, lean-back, 10-foot television viewing experience through a streamlined interface that enables you to discover, watch and share YouTube videos on any TV screen with just a few quick clicks of your remote control.”
No word yet when this will be finished, but I am sure it will be an accepted addition for all Wii fans. Google goes on to talk about more ways they are going to take over the world.
“Our hope is that this site may help to accelerate an industry evolution towards open television access to Web video. Over time, we plan to add support for additional TV devices that provide Web browsers,”
