Sequel to Original Ambidexterity Trainer Offers New Drills to Develop Both Hands and Hemispheres of the Brain
EDISON, N.J., October 15, 2008 – Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, today announced Left Brain Right Brain 2 for Nintendo DS™. Developed by Kokolo Corporation, Left Brain Right Brain 2 helps players develop their ambidexterity by using both hands to play all-new mental training games that have an updated graphic presentation.
The Left Brain Right Brain game series is designed to equally train a player’s weak and dominant hands via logic-based mini-games that require players to rotate the DS in book style play. In Left Brain Right Brain 2, players use the Touch Screen in 20 new games based on speed, accuracy, association, recognition, memory and strategy. Games like Balloon Attack, Block Buster, Cosmic Seesaw and Space Escape, among others, strengthen the left and right hemispheres of the brain by making players switch hands throughout play. Afterwards, players can monitor personal progress and assess improvement by reviewing development percentages for each hand. Gamers can also tailor their favorite mental-training routine in the new Exercises mode, while testing ‘good’ and ‘weak’ hands via three random games in Ambidexterity Check. Finally, players can compete with a friend in both single and multi-card multiplayer mode to prove who has the mental skills to be truly ambidextrous.

To start, let’s step back and make sure you know where this story begins – Dr. Eggman is once again causing trouble and is finally cornered by Sonic. Though it seems certain these are his final moments and Dr. Eggman has FINALLY been stopped, it all turns out to be a ruse and instead it was Sonic who was lured into a trap. Dr. Eggman grabs the Chaos emeralds and uses their dark powers to wake the Dark Gaia – a huge monster who has spent many years sleeping at the center of the earth. The earth breaks into seven pieces with the force of the Dark Gaia’s abrupt and angry awakening. Sonic is also touched by this dark power and is changed in ways he can’t even begin to imagine. Soon after his transformation, he is thrown into space and is left to fall to his death on the scattered pieces of a broken earth. Sonic survives and begins an epic adventure to return the world to its rightful form!

With just 3 weeks until (Nov 4th) presidential elections in the United States. Many of you probably already know who you are going to vote for, but there is a few out there who are still undecided. I have spent the last 3 months, emailing this person and that person, trying to get a comment from the Obama and McCain campaign, to have them answer questions about their stand on different gaming issues. To my despair I was never gotten back with. I decided to venture out on my own to find the dirt on what these candidates, and what they have said about videogames. In my original draft of this post I had added my own thoughts. To stay as bias on this subject, and to just stick to the facts, I have admitted my musings. The first of a two part series is going to focus on Democratic Candidate Barack Obama.
