Provides Parents with More Detailed Information on Game Content Just in Time for the Holiday Shopping Season
Are you considering buying a video game this holiday season for your child? The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), which assigns age and content ratings for computer and video games, announced the availability of “rating summaries,” a new, supplementary source of information about game content parents can use when considering which games to purchase for their children. Rating summaries are also accessible from a new mobile website at m.esrb.org, which allows consumers when shopping for games to search game titles on their mobile devices right at the point of purchase
12/11/08 – Future Publishing Australia have today announced a new agreement with Nintendo Australia to launch Official Nintendo Magazine – Australia and New Zealand.
Official Nintendo Magazine – Australia and New Zealand builds upon the existing relationship between the two companies, a partnership which currently extends to both the US and the UK, where Future publishes the official titles in both strategically important markets.
Greg Arthurton, Director of Marketing, Nintendo Australia said:
“We are really excited about the new agreement. By establishing a partnership with Future Publishing Australia, we are able to extend the Nintendo brand into a new environment with a locally produced magazine on the newsstands. We will also benefit from the well established relationship which already exists between the companies in other territories, and we will integrate that into the way we work together here too. We definitely see the magazine as being an important part of our evolving communications strategy in this region, not least to ensure our customers can get the best out of their consoles with a complementary offering.”

What is Kopin? That is one of life’s great questions. The Kopin in general is a legendary creature with a roundish head and a propensity for magic. Contrary to popular belief, Kopins do not grant wishes. Kopins live in a wide variety of areas in the world of Luminous Arc – they can be deadly opponents in battle or friendly help at the local bar.In between missions in Luminous Arc, players encounter special sequences called “Life of Kopin,” that feature a specific Kopin determined to become the world’s most powerful monster. He doesn’t necessarily try too hard to meet this goal, and he does it in what might be considered an unorthodox fashion, but he’s dedicated to his mission and his antics enrich the Luminous Arc experience.
There’s a little bit of Kopin in all of us, so fans will be pleased to know that Kopin interaction sequences return from the original game. The new sequences will feature an even wider variety of crazy situations you can put Kopin into, just by tapping on the screen.
