The Nintendo Switch eShop has been updated with a heap of new content as we welcome the weekend. This week’s highlights include the collective RPG stylings of Etrian Odyssey, along with the baseball shenanigans of Super Mega Baseball 4.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection brings together three games from the series, each remastered in HD. You can purchase these classic RPGs in one bundle or individually. Which is your favorite in the series?

Meanwhile, baseball fans are sure to be excited about Super Mega Baseball 4, which brings us over 200 baseball legends, from Babe Ruth to Hank Aaron. It also delivers six stadiums and plenty of upgrades over previous entries, this one being the first title from EA Games.

There’s a long list of games on offer this week to tempt you away from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (also check out our latest podcast for tips and tricks on that particular game!).

Check out the full list of new releases below. Which games will you be playing this week?

  • Loop8: Summer of Gods – Your choices shape the world in this coming-of-age RPG set in 1980s rural Japan. Step into the life of Nini, a newly earthbound teen who arrives in the quaint Japanese town of Ashihara in August 1983. Nini and his allies become stuck in a loop and must relive the eighth month over and over until they get it right, or the Kegai will overcome them entirely. Use Nini’s special connection to the gods to reset the world to help aid you in your quest. Explore the town, befriend its people and face off against the Kegai in turn-based battles where the outcomes depend on the relationships you’ve built and the decisions you’ve made. With one month until the world ends, how will you spend each day? Loop8: Summer of Gods will be available on June 6.
