Famitsu Publisher: New DS Will Be Shown At This Years E3
In the most recent issue of Famitsu magazine, irokazu Hamamura, boss of Famitsu publisher Enterbrain, announced that he believes that Nintendo will show of their next generations of the DS, at this years E3. Here at pure Nintendo we have talked about this as well. This year the DS turns four. If the announcement comes out at E3 it will be a least another year before it actually comes out, which will make it five years old. Is Nintendo follow the same cycle life as its home consoles?

A new DS would be HUGE! The DS Lite has been around for awhile now and I think it’s time for a totally new version. I’ll think they’ll beef up the processing power, slim it down some more, and also maybe make larger screens with higher resolution.
But my biggest hope is for a handheld Virtual Console service :) Think about it, you could download your favorite Gameboy, GB Color, Gameboy advance, and Game Gear games on the new DS!! I think it’s a no-brainer and hopefully Nintendo does too!
