Rising Star Games has announced that Harvest Moon: Light of Hope has an official release date for the Nintendo Switch in Europe. The latest entry in the farming simulator RPG series will hit the Switch on 22 June.

The release date is slightly delayed, as Natsume had previously provided a tentative May release window. We’ve been waiting patiently since the game was first announced by Natsume last year, so we’re excited to get our first Harvest Moon outing for the Nintendo Switch.

In Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, players drift into a small harbour town after your ship is capsized. The town has been damaged by the storm, so you’ll be helping to rebuild the town and save the lighthouse. Naturally, you’ll also be growing crops, tending livestock and gathering materials for repairs, all while making new friends and starting a family of your own.

Harvest Moon: Light of Hope will be released both at retail and on the Nintendo Switch eShop in Europe on June 22nd. We’ll let you know when a firm US release date is announced.

In the meantime, check out the latest trailer and let us know if you’re looking forward to some farm-sim fun on your Switch this June.
