It’s time to reveal the latest downloadable delights for the European eShop, and this week’s list is a long one, with something for everyone. From picross puzzles on the 3DS to the original Metal Slug on the Switch, check out the full list below and let us know which games will make their way to your systems this week.

  • Snake Pass (Sumo Digital, €19.99 / £15.99) – this physics puzzler is also an intriguing collect-a-thon in which you manoeuvre Noodle the snake through detailed levels.
  • Metal Slug (HAMSTER, €6.99 / £6.29) – go back to the beginning with the original Metal Slug, with enhancements like screen filters, online leaderboards and much more.

Wii U eShop

  • Cube Life: Pixel Action Heroes (Cypronia, €6.99 / £6.29) – this version of Cube Life has ragdoll physics and guns, taking the Minecraft-esque template and adding ’80s action-hero skins, with local multiplayer, destructible maps and a map editor.
  • Pic-a-Pix Colour (Lightwood Games, €5.00 / £4.50 or free if you download the 3DS version) – this is a Picross game with a twist, since you fill in colours and spaces aren’t mandatory. There’s plenty of DLC available and a cross-buy promotion with the 3DS too. We’ll see how it stacks up in our upcoming review.
  • Mutant Alien Moles of the Dead (EnjoyUp Games, €2.99 / £2.58) – a colorful and fun-looking game that tests your reflexes.

  • Urban Trial Freestyle 2 (Tate Multimedia, €6.99 / £6.29) – this side-on motorcycle racing and stunt game comes with 40 tracks, several modes, online leader boards and the ability to create and share tracks. We thought the game was fun and fairly well designed in our Urban Trial Freestyle 2 review.
  • Pic-a-Pix Colour (Lightwood Games, €5.00 / £4.50 or free if you download the Wii U version) – this is a Picross game with a twist, since you fill in colours and spaces aren’t mandatory. There’s plenty of DLC available too. We’ll see how it stacks up in our upcoming review.
