As another week begins, we eagerly await the eShop goodies coming to the 3DS and Wii U across Europe and Australia from this Thursday. This week sees a few big hitters, namely the latest Zelda outing on the 3DS, along with Just Dance 2016 for the Wii U, with plenty of releases and discounts to boot.

Check out the full list below and let us know in the comments section which games will be entering your download queue this week.

Wii U Virtual Console

  • Hogan’s Alley (Nintendo, €4.99 / £3.49) – delving all the way back to 1984 (1987 in Europe) comes this NES game that used the famous Zapper gun to shoot outlaws on a shooting range. Like Duck Hunt, this Wii U version allows play with your Wiimote as a pointer to get the full light gun shooting experience.
  • Wild Gunman (Nintendo, €4.99 / £3.49) – The light gun theme continues this week with another NES game that used the Zapper control. Released originally in Japan in 1984 (1988 in Europe), this time you’ll be using your quick reflexes to draw your gun and shoot your opponent before he shoots you. Incidentally, you may remember this game from Back to the Future: Part Two (and yes, October 21, 2015 is this week, folks).

Wii U Retail Download

  • Just Dance 2016 (Ubisoft, €44.99 / £29.99) – the latest annual dancing franchise lands on the Wii U this week, with more dancing, including songs from Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and One Direction. There’s also the subscription-based Just Dance Unlimited, which provides access to new songs and songs from the older games. You’ll get one month of the Unlimited package for free with the game, which is available from 23rd October.
