Last month Nintendo decided they would start updating  top-selling games by combining  digital sales numbers with physical NPD numbers. Recently Nintendo has updated this list to show more recent sales.

According to the Neogaf poster of this information. The last list released by Nintendo, which was in early July, did not reflect the June NPD numbers that were released after the original list.

Pikmin 3 missing from the top digital download list is a little interesting. This could confirm these numbers are not the most up-to-date to the release of Pikmin 3. It could also mean that majority of Pikmin 3 owners decided to buy the physical copy over the digital.
