With the weekend finally here, we want to know what you’re playing right now. The Pure Nintendo team has compiled our own playlist of games we’re catching up on, both new and old – but what’s been on your gaming agenda recently?

Check out our full playlist below and let us know which games you’re playing right now.

Alex

  • Dragon Quest 7 (3DS): While I have only just started this game, I can tell I’m really going to enjoy exploring every nook and cranny of the game’s world.
  • Triforce Heroes (3DS): Even though I’ve had this game in my collection for awhile, I’ve only just now started to play it. While initially I was planning on running through the game on my own, I’m tempted to revisit levels and try out the multiplayer.

Trevor

  • TrevorMario Kat 8 (Wii U): There’s never a bad week for Mario Kart, especially with friends. My performance was uneven, but I had lots of fun.
  • Metroid Prime Pinball (DS): Playing this for part 2 of our Metroid 30th Anniversary spread, coming soon to an issue of PNM near you.
  • Soul Axiom (Wii U eShop): It’s finally here, and I’ve been playing it for the past several days. Expect my review next week.
  • Super Mario Maker (Wii U): Finished playing through all the fan-submitted courses. Have a course you’re proud of? Please share it with us!

  • Gunvolt Striker 2 (3DS): Currently playing this for a review – and also Gunvolt Striker to gain a better understanding of Gunvolt Striker 2.
  • Dragon Quest VII (3DS): A port of a classic but JRPG fans in general will find a good purchase picking up Fragments of the Forgotten Past. Check out my Dragon Quest VII review to see why I thought it was very good.

  • Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins (3DS): Technically I only played this a little after I downloaded it for my 5-year-old on his 2DS, but he absolutely loves it. He’s finished the Wii U version twice now. Yes, looks like I’m raising a gamer.
  • Fire Emblem: Fates (3DS): I’ve started the second-last chapter of Birthright, about to take on Camilla (my sister who still hates me for defecting). It’s proving to be a tough battle!
  • Super Mario Maker (Wii U): I’ve really enjoyed dipping into this again recently to test out some fan-submitted courses. So much fun trying out these creative new concepts!
  • Pokémon GO (mobile): Is anyone else still playing this? I’m still playing occasionally and have reached level 20. It’s taking a lot longer to level up, and I’m over Zubats and Pidgeys being my main monsters around town, but it’s still exciting when something new pops up and I have 75 in my Pokedex now.
