A supposed concept artwork reveals a bizarre possibility for the next Mortal Kombat: A Marvel vs Capcom-styled crossover between the gruesome antics of Mortal Kombat and the comic book adventures of DC (Batman, Superman, the Flash etc).

A while back 1up mentioned that the next Mortal Kombat came would make us think that it was an April Fools joke, so this could possible be true. Later today the there is supposed to be an announcement for this game. We will get to see if this rumor is true, and if there is any chance of the game coming to the Wii.

Update: The Official site has been launched and it only says the game will be coming to the 360 and PS3. Really no surprise there.
