Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that Argentinean forward Lionel Messi is to be the face of its forthcoming PES 2009 title for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PlayStation®2, and PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), Wii and mobile phones across Europe.

Having played for Argentinean sides since he was five, Messi moved to Barcelona when he was just 13,13 working his way through the CatalanFC Barcelona side’s youth and reserve teams, before making his full debut in October 2004 as the youngest player ever to play in the Spanish top flight. He made his debut for Argentina against Hungary in 2005, and has been a permanent member of the squad ever since.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has confirmed it is to expand its PES 2009 line-up with the release of a mobile version to be released in Autumn and a Wii version in Spring 2009.

Growing publisher heads into its busiest ever month with a new release virtually every week.
Luton – July 28th 2008 – Slow summers are a thing of the past as Rising Star Games prepare for the busiest month of releases in the company’s short history. With a new release almost every week in August, Rising Star Games is going against the convention of a usually quiet summer and getting four unique titles out before the traditional autumn frenzy.
Kicking things off will be traditional J-RPG Growlanser: Heritage of War. A PlayStation®2 exclusive, Growlanser: Heritage of War is the fifth title from the successful Growlanser series and is the first time the series has made an appearance in Europe. Featuring an enticing generation-spanning storyline, tactical gameplay and a unique skill system, it has everything a traditional RPG fan would want with the added bonus of superb anime-style cut scenes and artwork. Growlanser: Heritage of War will be available from August 15th 2008.
There is some debate if these screens are from the 360 version or the Wii. After looking at them for a while I have no clue. I know this sounds …

Introduction:
This game is a one-player point-and-click murder mystery based on the Agatha Christie’s novel by the same name. If you’re a fan of Agatha’s storytelling and have read the novel first published back in 1939, you might be asking yourself why you would want to play this game when you already know the ending. Well good news, the ending for this game is different than the book. For all of us that have not read the book (myself included), what is the point of changing the ending? To me, this seems disrespectful to Agatha’s work. However, if you finish the game, a surprise awaits for those that don’t know the original story.
