What’s happening on the eShop this week? Two sequels await us in the form of Cat Quest III and SteamWorld Heist II.

SteamWorld Heist II is here, bringing us a rare treat in the form of a direct sequel to a SteamWorld title. Turn-based battles return, this time on the high seas rather than set in space. There are a LOT of weapons to aquire, and plenty of crafting to do between battles. We were fans of the original SteamWorld, so we’re excited to give this sequel a try.

Cat Quest III is the first entry for this cute action series in five years, introducing nautical elements to proceedings. This swashbuckling adventure takes players on a quest to find the fabled Northern Star – before the Pi-Rat King can steal it for himself! With various weapons and upgrades, not to mention bounties to collect and treasures to find, this is one title ready to keep us busy for the next little while.   • Cat Quest III – In this cute and casual action RPG, you’ll play as a swashbuckling feline privateer sailing the Purribean in search of the North Star, a long-lost mythical treasure. But beware: The seas are swarming with Pi-rats, under orders from the Pirate King to hunt you down! Explore a gorgeous new world solo or in local co-op* and encounter fierce battles with the newly refined combat system, now featuring weapon swapping and tighter attack combos. And, for the first time in the series, sail the seas and battle in your very own ship! The Purribean is yours to explore when Cat Quest III launches for Nintendo Switch today.
