BANDAI NAMCO has announced an official release date for Sword Art Online, which will hit the Nintendo Switch on May 24.
Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch includes the base game plus all season pass content, including Abyss of the Shrine Maiden and Warriors of the Sky.
In the game, players will return to the world of Aincrad as Kirito and his friends are pulled into the Virtual Reality MMORPG called Sword Art: Origin, a game housed on the same servers that hosted the death-game Sword Art Online. Kirito will soon learn that this game isn’t quite the same as the one he escaped years ago.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch will be available digitally through the Nintendo Switch eShop on May 24, 2019 (April 25 in Japan). Let us know if you’ll be picking this one up this May.
