Here it is, that time of week where we share some predictions for the following Monday’s vc release and you comment what you think of the predictions. Alright, here we go!

Art Of Fighting

For the first time ever a NeoGeo game has made it’s way to the SinisterRabbit prediction list! SNK recently announced that NeoGeo games were headed to the Virtual Console, and Art Of Fighting was one of the games they said would hit first. It may be a bit early, but we are going to predict that this will be the week that the first NeoGeo game hits the VC!

Wrecking Crew

What a strangely great title Wrecking Crew is. A true blast from the past, Wrecking Crew was one of the original NES games and it is entirely possible that only a handful of people remember it fondly, let alone know that it is a MARIO game. Yes our favorite plumber was the star of Wrecking Crew! The game has been released in other regions, and is ESRB rated so don’t be surprised if it hits the VC on Monday.

Mega Man

Wow, how long do we have to wait for a Mega Man game to appear on the Virtual Console. I think that Mega Man is one of the biggest franchises that is still not represented on the VC. Nintendo, listen, since we aren’t getting any of those great “Japan Only” games that you gave NOE customers (not for a little while anyway) at least give us the Blue Bomber!

Vegas Stakes

Vegas Stakes was released almost a month ago in Europe, and was ESRB rated some time ago as well. Could this be the week we get to lose all of our virtual casino chips all over again?

Volleyball

One of the last “NES Sports” games to come to the Virtual Console (baseball, tennis, golf) Volleyball has been waiting in the wings for a while now. If we get something great, like Mega Man or Art of Fighting, then I would expect to see a game like Volleyball used as a “filler” title.

ESWAT: City Under Siege

ESWAT was recently announced by SEGA as a game that would “soon” be coming to the Virtual Console. At this time SEGA has a few games that fit that same description, so ESWAT is a pick that is just as good as any… but probably still better than Vectorman. There, that was my Vectorman joke of the week.

Legend of Hero Tonma
