Happy Friday! As the week draws to a close, we’re ready to hit the weekend with some solid game time. So what are we playing right now? Fire Emblem Echoes has been a major source of inspiration for the team this week, with the likes of Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8, and even the mobile adventures of Mario Run rounding out the list.

Check out our playlist below and let us know what’s on your gaming agenda right now.

  • Puyo Puyo Tetris (Switch): Still playing this a lot. It makes time go by pretty quickly when I’m bored and I’m determined to reach 50 opponents on endurance mode and beat my high score. Also, I’m now ranked 8 in my region. I’m trying to make it to number 1, so wish me luck!

Alex

  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch): I know, I should probably play something else, but I just love wandering around lost in Hyrule. I’ve officially gotten more than half the Koroks. %100 completion, here I come.

  • Fire Emblem Birthright (3DS): Honestly have very little experience with the series, so I borrowed a copy from a friend. I’m only an hour in, so it’s far too early for an opinion

  • Super Mario Run (mobile): I’ve accumulated 2000 Toads in Toad Rally now! I’ve also finally paid for the full game, and started on World 2 :)
  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch): I’ve managed to squeeze in a little more time with Mario Kart, this week I’ve been hitting the 150cc circuits.
  • LEGO City Undercover (Switch): Two-player fun continues as we work our way through the story mode. We also like driving into each other on the way to our next assignment, and racing through the streets scaring LEGO citizens – this game is so much fun!
  • Fire Emblem Fates (3DS): With the release of Echoes I’ve revived my Fates journey, since I never quite finished the game. I’m up to chapter 22 after a pretty scary battle with those Faceless hordes!
