Rumors are starting to spread around the Internet about a possible remake of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Signs of a Wii U remake have been spotted in the Nintendo eShop.
Hackers at WiiBrew found the listing for Twilight Princess in Nintendo’s Japanese servers. Reports from sources have claimed that NWPlayer123 found a shop icon for Twilight Princess on the backend of the Nintendo eShop. Others think that this could also be an icon for a direct port from the Wii. WiiBrew also posted the listings on their website.
Legend of Zelda is no stranger to remakes. Several titles including Majora’s Mask and Windwaker have been remade for current generation consoles. Twilight Princess was originally released for the Wii and GameCube in 2006.
