This really was not written by Mario. It was written by Greg Lockwood over at seamanticks.com.
Dear Nintendo,
We’ve been in a business relationship for quite a while now, and to be honest, I never used to have any complaints about my job. I mean sure, my line of work has never really been considered “easy” by any means, but in the early days it just felt so much more… rewarding.
Do you get what I’m saying guys? I wasn’t too fond of chasing a huge ape up a series of ladders, but with that fine-ass Pauline waiting for me, I didn’t mind. Same thing with running around Mushroom Kingdom, I don’t mind taking out a few Koopas since I know Peach is going to be waiting for me. (”At another castle”…God that joke gets so old)

Multiplayer: I think people pretty uniformly love the games you guys make. And I think people pretty uniformly are getting tired of Sonic having so many friends in all of his games. I think that puts you guys and your team in kind of a funny spot. Do you think …
Ray Muzyka, General Manager, BioWare: Which people?
Multiplayer: Which characters?
Muzyka: No, which types of people complain about them?
Multiplayer: It seems like the “Sonic” series, which was beloved when it came out on the Genesis…
Muzyka: [smiling] I still have my signed Genesis, signed by Yuji Naka-san plugged into my TV and it still works and I still play it. It’s fantastic.
Multiplayer: As the series has gone on, people loved it, loved it, loved it, and, when it went to 3D, there was some grumbling. The games have been somewhat maligned by the critics since then. And one of the things you hear is “Oh, every time they make a new ‘Sonic’ game, they’re adding this character or that character. Now there’s Shadow and he’s got a gun… And then [Sonic]’s in love with human women who are bringing him back to life”…
Sega has trademarked the phrase Sonic Unleashed for “video game software [and] computer game programs,” which more than likely means another Sonic game is headed our way. And lo, …

Action-Packed Wii Fighting Game Includes More Moves, More Levels, More Characters-More Brawling!REDMOND, Wash., March 10, 2008 – When Mario™ appears in a new game, people perk up. But when loads of characters from across the Nintendo universe battle alongside such video game icons as Sonic The Hedgehog and Solid Snake, people take charge! The March 9 launch of Super Smash Bros.® Brawl quickens the pulse of even the most jaded veteran gamer. Featuring a host of playable characters, special items, stages and music, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is an encyclopedia of Nintendo’s video game history, making it the biggest and deepest brawl of them all.
This innovative fighting game, the first Super Smash Bros. game for Wii, ups the ante with several exciting new modes and wireless features. By logging onto Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection, players can now enjoy online battles with friends near and far. An extensive new single-player mode is perfect for solo brawlers who want to hone their skills. A sprawling adventure mode called “The Subspace Emissary” lets players jump and brawl their way through enemy-packed side-scrolling levels, meeting up with other characters, watching incredible cinematics and taking on massive bosses – solo or in a cooperative two-player mode. And, of course, there’s the series hallmark: elaborate, action-packed battles that pit up to four players against one another in a brawl to see who’s the last one standing.
This could be considered a spoiler to some, so check after the jump. Also check out an interesting little cheat at the bottom.
