Easily, one of my favorite game demos from E3 in June was Trine: The Nightmare Prince. The 2.5D platformer from Frozenbyte looks to be a triumphant return to everything we love about the series: intense action, clever puzzles, stunning visuals, and a good sense of humor.

The game was announced for Switch back in March, but only as a standalone purchase. This left Switch gamers without the option to purchase the Trine: Ultimate Collection of all four Trine games announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Now, publisher Modus Games has answered customer requests with the announcement that Trine: Ultimate Collection will indeed be available for purchase on Nintendo Switch this fall. Available digitally or as a physical purchase, the collection will include the franchise’s initial three games and the forthcoming Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince.

At retail, Trine: The Ultimate Collection will include.

  • All four Trine games (Trine Enchanted Edition, Trine 2: Complete Story, Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, and Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince)
  • A download code for the Trine Series Original Soundtrack
  • A download code for the Trine 4 Digital Art Book
  • A collector’s reversible cover sheet
  • A physical Trine 4 world map

Those who pre-order Trine: Ultimate Collection will also get a Trine 4 cloth poster and bonus in-game content.

Oh, and there’s also a giveaway in case you’re interested in possibly winning a Nintendo Switch, PS4 Pro or Xbox One X.
