As the week draws to a close it’s time to check out the latest offerings on the Nintendo eShop in Europe. This week’s long list of releases includes the likes of Slime-san’s platforming action, plenty of retro style action, puzzles galore and a multitude of discounts to boot.

There’s bound to be something for everyone so check out the full list below and let us know which games will make their way onto your playlist this week.

Switch eShop

  • Slime-san (Fabraz, €11.99 / £10.00) – this stylish and challenging platformer has customisation options to switch up the gameplay, with features like multiplayer mini-games, single-player levels, online leaderboards and additional modes.
  • Retro City Rampage DX (Vblank Entertainment, €14.99 / £12.99) – this one has been on several systems, including WiiWare and 3DS, with this latest version for the Switch. We were big fans of this action-adventure title on the 3DS, which is full of humor and in-game references, plus some solid gameplay.
  • Aero Fighters 2 (HAMSTER, €6.99 / £6.29) – the latest classic ACA Neo Geo title is a shoot-em-up with plenty of outlandish bosses and enemies. Player-controlled planes are based on real-life jets, like the F-14 Tomcat, F-15 Strike Eagle and Northrop YF-23, with crazy pilots – like dolphins.
  • Strikers 1945 (Zerodiv, €6.99 / £5.99) – this is a re-release of an arcade game, a vertically scrolling shooter from 1995 featuring classic WW2 planes facing off against enemies, like transforming battle engines.
  • Gunbarich (Zerodiv, €6.99 / £5.99) – this is another arcade re-release, this time from 2001, and mixes puzzle and shooting elements.
  • Puzzle Adventure Blockle (INTENSE, €6.29 / £5.99) – this bright and colorful puzzle game sees you rotating stages to clear challenges over seven worlds.
  • Use Your Words (Smiling Buddha Games, €13.09 / £11.79) – a collection of four adult-centric minigames (with the option of a ‘family filter’) that uses phones and tablets as controllers, with an emphasis on multiplayer, even adding the ability to stream and watch games in action.
