    Hardware Sales: UPDATE!!!

Posted August 17th @ 4:19 pm by jsharp

Earlier we posted this week’s report of the console sales, but if you worked all the numbers out, the chart didn’t make sense. The 360 had sold more units than the Wii, yet the chart showed the Wii owning more of the market share. Thanks to Telekap, we have figured out why this was. Apparently when the numbers were figured, the Wii’s percentage had been rounded up, but not the 360. Here is the updated chart for this week and also the portable systems numbers.

You’re not looking too good, Sony.

    No. 1 in the Horizon

Posted August 17th @ 2:39 am by jsharp

Last week, the Wii was behind the 360’s sales by 220,000 units. The latest chart shows that it is now only 20,000 units behind. This means that in seven days, 200,000 Wiis were sold. That is amazing! It is only a matter of days the Wii will overtake the 360 and become the #1 console!
