The weekend is finally here, and we’re ready for some serious game time. The Pure Nintendo team has compiled our own playlist of games we’re catching up on, but what’s been on your gaming agenda recently?

Check out our full playlist below and let us know which games you’re playing right now.

  • Laser Blaster (Wii U eShop): I’ve been playing this for a review. There’s not much to say about it… Very simple, most likely a game I won’t be coming back to.
  • Severed (Wii U): At first I was excited to play Severed, but I’ve come to find out it’s not really my cup of tea. Check out my review later this week.
  • Super Smash Bros (Wii U) : For all of you who don’t know, I have never opened any of my amiibo. Recently a good friend sent me a few of hers that she didn’t want any more. So ive finally got a chance to play around with them a bit. Right now I’m training my Little Mac amiibo and a few others. It’s neat to watch them level up and learn more advanced skills.
  • Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS): Thanks to the new update I have a reason to go back and visit my town of “Awesome” in Animal Crossing. I don’t have an NFC reader so I won’t be able to checkout the amiibo feature. BUT, I can’t wait to see how many bells my town is worth :)

  • TrevorFairune 2 (3DS eShop) If you’re looking for some retro Zeldaish action, why not take a look at Fairune 2? The game is a challenge! Learn more by reading our Fairune 2 review.
  • Just Dance 2017 (Wii U): If I can catch my breath from all this dancing, I should have a review for this game next week.
  • Skylanders Imaginators (Wii U): If you haven’t already, please check out my Skylanders Imaginators review for this great (though costly) new entry in the Skylanders series. Fun times, especially in co-op!

  • Animal Crossing New Leaf (3DS): With the new update, I decided to grace the villagers of my town with my mayoral presence. Having done so has reignited my desire to catch every bug, fish, and deep sea creature; something that I have yet to accomplish in any Animal Crossing game.
  • Twisted Fusion (Wii U): An interesting exploration based platformer with RPG elements that I’m reviewing. For the price, there is plenty of content here. Look forward to my review coming soon.

Jemma

  • Fire Emblem: Fates (3DS): With my siblings, Camilla and Leo, on board, I’ve defeated Iago. Now I’m up to chapter 26, about to take on Xander!
  • Pokémon GO (mobile): I’m still on level 21, which seems to be taking forever. The recent Halloween promotion helped with my candy collection – I’m basically just trying to evolve Magikarp now.
  • Pirate Pop Plus (3DS eShop): I had a lot of fun with this retro-styled arcade game involving gravity-defying, bubble-popping action. Check out my Pirate Pop Plus review for all the details!
