I had a few of my nominee picks not make the final cut.
The one game I’m probably most surprised to not see on our list was Runbow.

There were quite a few good games this year. Many of those games that could have made the list are indies. Nintendo has done relatively well on the indie scene this time around and it has paid off with some pretty great games. I would have liked to see more indies in the nominees.

SteamWorld Heist has been a lot of fun and I also really enjoyed Swords and Soldiers 2 which also didn’t make the nominees list.
