With a lesser game, I might’ve eventually given up on it. But there are enough rewards in Cross Tails to push you through. It certainly helps that the intricate party preparation and tricky battles of this tactical JRPG are rewarding to overcome.

I know I’ve spent a lot of time discussing my qualms with this new formula for Zelda games but I did still enjoy myself. Don’t get me wrong, everyone should play Tears of the Kingdom.
